Smart Trash Can Quality Control & Testing
Proven Reliability. Backed by Hard Data. We engineered out the industry's highest return risks. 100% pre-shipment function tests, verified material reports, and a 6-step QC protocol on every order.
6-Step QC Protocol
Every product passes through our standardized inspection system before leaving the factory. See the full breakdown in our sensor testing & QC guide.

1. Raw Material Inspection (IQC)
Incoming stainless steel sheets and ABS pellets are checked before production. Supplier material certificates, thickness, and appearance are verified against our specifications, and non-conforming material is rejected at the gate.

2. Electronic Component Test
PCBA mainboards and infrared sensor modules run powered burn-in tests before assembly. Every board must pass checks for stable sensing, zero freezing, and zero signal drift.

3. Assembly Line QC (IPQC)
Every unit is inspected on the line with torque tests on fasteners and gap-tolerance checks on lids and seams. Defects are logged and corrected in real time at each station before the unit moves on.

4. Waterproof & Humidity Test
Bathroom and kitchen models go through sealed battery-compartment and high-humidity simulation. Sensor housings must show no moisture ingress before the unit is approved.

5. Drop & Impact Test
Units are dropped from a 1-meter height at three angles to simulate shipping. The structure must remain intact with no deformation, and lid and sensor function must still pass after impact.

6. Packaging Compression Test
Export cartons are compression-tested for crush resistance. Packaging must withstand peak-season stacking and port handling without damaging the product inside.
Return Root Causes & Our QC Fixes
Most smart trash can returns trace back to a few preventable issues. Here's how our 6-step QC targets each one before it ever reaches your customer.
Sensor False Triggering
Sensor modules run powered burn-in tests, and each finished unit is function tested to confirm response, lid movement, and power before shipping.
Dead on Arrival or Setup Confusion
Every unit is function tested out of the box before packing, so power, lid, and sensing work correctly from the first use.
Product Doesn't Match the Listing
We provide accurate specifications, dimensions, and product data for every model, so your listing matches the real product and reduces “not as described” returns.
Rust, Peeling, or Fake Stainless Steel
We provide raw-material certificates for the materials used and waterproof certification for the finished products, so quality is verifiable before you place an order.
Transit Damage from Poor Packaging
Export cartons pass compression and drop testing, so the product and its inner tray survive peak-season stacking and port handling.
Independent Verification Welcome
You are welcome to inspect our factory in person, arrange a third-party inspection, or send samples to an independent lab for testing. We support transparent verification at every stage.
Targeted Solutions
We studied the top causes of returns and engineered them out. Here's how. All solutions are built into our standard product range.
100% Function Test Before Shipment
Every smart trash can is function tested before leaving the factory. We verify the sensor response, lid opening and closing, and power system to ensure each unit works correctly right out of the box.
Fake Stainless Steel & Quick Rusting
A recurring complaint about supposedly stainless steel bins is rust or peeling after short-term use.
Our Solution:
- Real Stainless Steel, Pressed In-House: Genuine stainless steel sheets are pressed into can bodies in our own factory — watch the forming process and the solid knock test on the finished body.
Certifications
Core models are CE, FCC, and RoHS certified for US and EU markets.
Market-specific compliance support available for Germany (WEEE), Japan (PSE), and UK (UKCA).
